We started as a small team of engineers and writers who spent way too much time evaluating AI tools for our own work. Every week there was a new “game-changing” product. Most of them weren't.

We built PickyAI to do the legwork for everyone else. Today we maintain a database of hundreds of AI tools across categories including writing, image generation, coding, video, audio, and productivity. Each one has been tested hands-on before we publish a single word.

We're independent. We're not backed by any AI company or tool vendor. Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions and subscriptions — never from tool vendors paying to influence our rankings.
